Hi Paul, different subject. Right now I'm deciding on buying a computer. It's either a 400MHZ desktop for about $2,400 or a 266MHZ laptop for about $3,000 with everything I want.

My question, when do you see the laptop catching up to the 400MHZ performance level of a desktop? Because if it's only a couple of months away, I may elect to wait and purchase a laptop then.

I haven't read too many articles regarding the time frame of laptop speed increases lately.

Michael
