I wasn't surprised by the sell off. I was frustrated that I didn't sell on Thursday after a big two day run up. Looking back over the historical charts, any two day gain like that is followed with some sell off. Should have been more disciplined and traded out to pick up a few extra points. The way the stock traded up over the last two weeks seemed somewhat bullish to me. As someone else posted, 3 of the 4 down days were very minor in comparison to the powerful uptrend of the gaining days. 7/6 down (1/4) 7/7 up 2 3/16 7/8 up 3 15/16 7/9 down (1 1/2) 7/10 up 3/8 7/13 up 2 1/16 7/14 down (1/4) 7/15 up 5 5/8 7/16 up 1 7/8 7/17 down (4 11/16) Total gain 9 7/16 or 15.25%. (gain as of Thursday night: 14 1/8 or 22.8% on a total volume of 12.5 million shares, much more than the 3 million short position covering could have caused, that seems fairly bullish to me)
