Thanh, I probably wouldn't buy AMZN and go on vacation, true enough. But, I don't have to do that. Like many statements by shorts who post here, I think that is the wrong question. I'm in the middle of a killer project right now, I can't take vacation anyways. (And if you go on vacation, and I beat you in the market, well, it could be an expensive vacation for you.)
If AMZN buys EggHead, I think AMZN will double overnight! And deserves to. This is a fast emerging market w/ tremendous potential, as well as tremendous risk. But, the game is to make money. Let me say I WOULD NEVER short any of these stocks (or any other stocks). Never. That is a tactical blunder. The market doesn't owe you a profit. And this is not physics. There are no universal constants. This games tests your ability to make CREATIVE decisions, evaluating, not only financial statements, but mass psychology, history, economics, trends, culture, hysteria!
If only financials mattered, only accountants would win. What fun is that?
