I met a senior SVGI engineer today. he said that MIIIx is market ready and that enquiries have been strong. Biggest problem remains the Thermco business. Nikon is still experiencing optics problems and the shortage of optics engineers is apparently acute. This has resulted in non-english speaking Russian optics experts being brought over and given crash language courses to bring them up. Interest from Taiwanese companies is increasing but they want major financing help. Intel still holding up on the big orders. Intel engineers are tweaking Mii down to 0.18 micron.
