Not so sure. I mean you know how Italy is. Actually the economy is booming here, and--if considered in the longer term--the stock market has performed miracles. And they really have kept inflation under control, a novit… here.
They won't REALLY crack till the Dow does. C'mon, you KNOW taht. And the Dow won't crack till the dollar does, and I don't see that coming up any time soon. China WILL devalue the yuan, and then we'll see a capital flight from Asia....
I have now idea what'll happen after that, except that it won't be pretty. But in the early stages, well, the US markets will, I think, be the place to be.
Not that I'd recommend buying MTEI or anything. They're doing the Death Threat thing to me again there, so tiresome. Really you'd think they'd grow up. Or...maybe.... Funny, really, that as many stocks as I've objected to in my time on SI, only my comments about MTEI have provoked such a violent response....
