you're kidding right?
If you don't call the collapse of the japanese economy and the severe slow down in the orient a crisis enough to run to gold i don't know what else is! The oriental disaster has CAUSED low inflation because reduced demand for goods has killed the commodity market. Gold is not the hedge anymore, people and governments are to busy buying up US dollars and thus killing the canadian buck. Gold only has one saviour and that is inflation, which can't occur while the orient is dying.
