The article suggested that it was easier to go voice to data than vice versa as Cisco has posited. Now I'm confused. I see it as two standards. One Analog, one Digital. <<< Analog has been 'dead' for sometime now, except a-way-out-in-the-tulies! Usually analog to digital conversion is the first thing that is done. As far as 'switching' is concerned, it is all digital data in the larger switches. Regards, Ken
