Ok, this is just a guess, but I think we may be missing the point here. I think the point is to flush the substantial short position, not the amount of the dividend to the shareholders. The amount of the announced dividend is meaningless to us (or to those invested). If the shorts do get flushed and have to cover, the rise in the stock price will be the real dividend. Since I am guessing, Ill make one more guess that this TNNS is controlled by Logan and may be the spin off of the telco stuff, which could have the potential to hurt the earnings of GNNX, I just dont know. Again, this is all a guess. I have not talked to GNNX since the PR. I think I will though. If this is what I think, this could really change things at GNNX. Ill give them a try on Monday, unless someone else wants to. I think what needs to be clarified is:
1. Who, what, where on TNNS 2. Is the intent to shake out the short postion? 3. Where are the financials? 4. What is the current focus of the company? 5. Any new plans regarding the telco stuff? 6. How many colors come in a bag of M&Ms? (hey just kidding)
BTW I do not think anyone should shy way from asking a question here. Any thread that has people shutting others down for asking a question is not helping anyone.
I am more than happy to make the call, but since I am not invested (currently) in GNNX, if you guys want someone else to do it, it is fine with me. Don't want to get on a soapbox, but this thread should stay united.
