BHG: Bruce- thxs--I take it that the Genesis Group is different than the Genesis Partners that was in Baron's.

I for one, hope that we can get focused back on the Mississippi play instead of all this other stuff.

If, as you say, there is the possibility of other (implied large) investor groups coming into the stock-- does this open the door to some sort of deal making that in effect keeps the stock price low or lower in order to attract in these other 'Johnny-come-latelees'.
As you know, I am not a trader--to boot, am a novice investor-- but, I continue to see in other instances/occasions when a stock price comes under pressure, only to find later a huge cross or sale that is an obviously orchestrated event. i.e., a form of manipulation. Let's hope that this is neither what has been going on in this WT circumstance-- nor that it will happen in the future.
I come by my skepticism on the belief that there is significant shareholder value in WT and that others will discover this in the near future.

Best regards

p.s. I can not help myself-- I have to comment one more time on the Niel/Harvey affair.

As I observe the behaviour of markets after only 2 years of dabbling, I have come to believe two things:

1- Management of listed companies(with a few exceptions like NTL etc.) tend to put less than adequate information out to investors.

2- Many of those that report on the companies are riddled with bias.

I hear the statement that there are no controls on newsletter writers (true in law, I guess).

But, let us remember 'ethics' and 'truth' in all of our dealings. Let's demand of all ourselves some of those old rules that we should bring from (the best examples of) the old newspaper reporting days into these newer info mechanisms like Chat pages and News Rags a la Niel M. Otherwise, we will invite the court cases etc that will overshadow the good that can come from these outlets!
