Very interesting. Linux is definitely becoming a threat to NT It's not going to happen. Linux is not even so much as a blip on NT's radar screen. In no way does it threaten NT's future dominance. While there exists a market for Linux & related products, it is never going to the level of commercial success NT will. People can hate MS all day long. But NT is a good product that is likely to be dominant for some years to come. While I agree there is bloat, there is also plenty of hardware about that makes the bloat unimportant. And NT 4 is secure and stable, at least as much so as Linux. The biggest threat to NT is NT5, in which MS may take a good, stable NOS and convert it to crap.
