Hello,
Ok well the bottom line is we will see where NOVELL is
in 5-10 years... I will again explain since you obviously
don't get it.... I am not educated about NOVELL because
I don't need to be.... This is the core of the problem...
They don't have products I need to manage a network in
a 300 billion dollar company... Get a clue... Novell is
going nowhere fast and their stock price relects this...
Why would anyone invest any money in Novell... Where is
the growth... Not one person on this thread even has attempted
to explain why I need Novell software... Not ONE...

You make the comment "there's plenty of good info on why the
computing public needs these products on these threads and
elsewhere".... Ok what are they...

Let's say I am a small business and I have 4 95/98 PC's and
an NT Server..... I connect them up with a hub and away I
go.... Now, I have clients asking me every week..... Don't
I still have to install NOVELL..... No... 95/98 and NT have
networking built in... So don't spend the extra $$$$ on
Vaporware it is NOT NEEDED.... What possible NOVELL networking
features could they need in this small example?

The point here in the above explaination is that NOVELL made
it big because the computing public NEEDED them to efficiently
nework computers when Windows didn't have the functionality...
Same with Lantastic... Now I am asking you people why I need
NOVELL... If I don't, good luck with the stock price...

Later,
MZIP
