It was mentioned briefly on a review of ISR that Steve Harmon had "reason to believe" that CBS would make a bid to acquire Lycos. It was back in the beginning of July; I believe the July 1 issue. Does anyone here have any insight to this line of thought? I haven't seen any discussion of it here or elsewhere.
