Yousef and the experts, Ice Laboratories at ice-corp.com has a cross section view of K6 (in 0.25um I believe) magnified 60K X. The poster version is free. The J-PEG file costs $50. The is a very impressive view of K6 built from layer to layer. Poly thickness is 0.25um; LI is shown like a W plug; metal 1 is 0.50um; metal 2, 3, and 4 are 1um each; metal 5 (upper most layer) is 2 to 3 um thick. The workmanship is superb, just amazing. CMP along with SOG really flattens out the topography of the IC. Time Traveler
