i've been reading the interviews in the "The new Market Wizards" book. im not sure if you've read it as well. what is interesting is that many of the stories told by the book referred to the oct. 1987 crash.. they recalled that valuations were very high, and there was a rally before the crash in the 1st part of the year. --> however, it was a rally mainly in the large caps.. it wasn't a broad-based market rally. They said breadth wasn't good. the question in my mind is: Are we heading the same path? any insights? i was still in elementary school learning my ABC's then <gggg>
