Boob,

Yes some stockholders can or are damaged by stock hype. Especially those that bought at the highs based upon material misrepresentation of the facts. However there is nothing wrong with being a promoter. Its the promoters job to promote the company and not just the stock. Some promoters do a good job of letting the investment community know about a company and its stock. What was the "Intent" of the promoter? Was it to hype the stock to defraud the investment community? Why should the "Job" of being a promoter considered evil? Are all promoters evil? What did you do with your own DD of the company?
What was your DD? Why did you buy the stock?

Bob
