Greg, I was giving my professional opinion of the visx laser vs. the summit laser . I work directly and indirectly with the visx laser .I have seen many PRK patients within my practice and the visx laser does a remarkable job. When visx gets final FDA approval to correct astigmatism then the stock should make a significant move. On the other hand, if beam gets FDA approval for correcting HYPEROPIA (FARSIGHTEDNESS) this should really give beam a boost. The laser of choice is probably neither beam or visx, the Nidek laser is suppose to be the best. however, the nidek laser is a couple of years away from FDA approval in the USA. best regards MPRO
