That's where Here's My Card, a new program from Alpha Software Corporation, a subsidiary of SoftQuad International Inc. (NASDAQ:SWEBF;TSE:SKI), comes in. Alpha Software today shipped Here's My Card, which enables users to create personalized cards to represent their various roles or professions.
Now, there's no longer any need to jot down a name and a phone number on a scrap piece of paper. Here's My Card enables entrepreneurs, volunteers and students to create professional cards from scratch or by using one of the 1,000+ predefined layouts. Users can personalize cards by importing or scanning in photos, illustrations and logos. Cards can be printed single-sided, double-sided, in full color, or black and white.
"Here's My Card allows anyone - from a babysitter advertising their services to an entrepreneur with an innovative idea - to creatively design a card of their own, without a major investment," said Howard March, Vice President, Sales & Marketing of Alpha Software.
With Here's My Card, young entrepreneurs can print up cards for tutoring services, landscaping and auto detailing. Moms and dads can produce cards for volunteer activities like soccer coach and Cub Scout leader, or create cards with emergency contact information for schools, carpools or child care workers. Create cards for all occasions, including change of address, parties, clubs, church groups, place cards, gift tags and children's cards.
Here's My Card requires a Pentium 90 MHz system or higher, Windows 95, 16MB of RAM, a 4X CD-ROM Drive, and an 800 X 600 display. With a suggested retail price of $19.95, Here's My Card is available at computer specialty retailers and office superstores throughout North America.
