sold my dell on friday--been holding 500 shares since 31 and got out
at 108 in the greenspan panic. was thinking obout getting back in but
after reading all this euphoria dint think i will --am not wiling to short either--
there is just too much mo in this stock and will not fight the tape-will continue to
monitior and short when it starts to fall-i think the downside at this level is much more
than the upside. we are in the nosebleeds here as far as pe on this stockwhich makes the
risk very high--people who buy now are not buying on the fundamentals of the pc industry
they are buying the greater fool theory--dell still makes boxes-margins
will be pressured going forward. I was at a JP Morgan conference and their tech analyist still likes
dell and thinks there will be another upside suprise next quarter-that may be true but i think its already priced in the
in the stock--more likely to go down after earnings although some small potential upside from here with all th enthusiasm
there is now way that dell deserves anywhere close the pe's of intc and msft. Althought dell is a great co they just dont have the
franchise that intel and msft have--those companies have pricing power that dell does not . good luck with staying long but be careful am moving my proceeds to
