DBII's main product, the TENPRINTER, electronically reads fingerprints and creates a digital image. For the six months ended 3/31/98, sales fell 25% to $4.3 million. Net loss increased 40% to $2.9 million. Results reflect a decrease in the number of the TENPRINTER sold. Higher loss reflects additional personnel-related costs and setup costs.
