IP telephony is tempting
PC Week - July 22, 1998

For some corporations, promise of reduced costs outweighs fear of flaws

Although still immature, the IP telephony market is gaining momentum
as vendors improve their products and companies begin to see the
potential cost savings, particularly on international calls.

Network for the world

In February, USA Global Link Inc. announced plans to build an
international IP telephony network. The network, which will be based

to construct. The network will offer services in Brazil, Germany, Hong
Kong, Japan, the Netherlands and the United States, and will take
three years to complete.
