Earnings!!

Can anyone make an intellegent analysis of what we can expect for earning tomorrow and share prices the following day.

Things I believe we need to consider are:

1. Asia - Will not affect Q as severely as expected since wireless phone sales in Korea has not been impacted by the economic problems. Although the exchange rate conversion will affect royalty payments, ASICs and equipment sales should not be affected.

2. Even if the earnings are not a blow-out as I am expecting, I am sure management will have positive comments for the future since Jacobs stated a month or two ago that Asia will not be a factor in the future. Especially with Japan going on line and the new Q phone going on sale this month.

3. Equipment, ASICs and phone sales are very strong in US and all around the world.

I just cannot believe the Mexico announcement did not budge the stock price past the $60 level. Hopefully a strong earnings, positive comments from management, a few more positive news items and an announcement about a stock split will move this stock soon.

I would appreciate any input. Good luck to all. 2 more days.
