Yes, Gary clarified this morning that it is indeed law.

I am glad to see that....I have no problem if someone wants to receive compensation as long as they disclaim to the public that they have indeed been compensated....where I do have a problem is with those that take compensation but do not disclaim and make themselves appear as nothing more than confident investors....while going from board to board hyping the fire out of it...there are even online spindoctor firms that have been formed where there are groups of people who receive compensation and they all go around pumping the fire out of the same stock...this appears as if several people are interested and confident in a stock, and others will be more privy to jump into the stock...little do people know that this "group" is all being paid by the company to pump...that i have a MAJOR problem with, and there are several groups/people on SI that are part of these "online spindoctor firms"

This is where the SEC should crack down on the law they implemented
