I understand that a lot of companies are simply replacing all older pc's to solve the 2K problem. One of the reasons I have heard given for a slowdown in SAP and Peoplesoft the next year is that it is too close to 2K. The companies can implement programs, but are running out of people to do them in time. Lets face it, we are down to 15 months! However, SAP has so much bus lined up or being sold that I don't think this affects bottom line.
