'Media- New York Post columnist Steve Dunleavy published an article on
Friday discussing the dangers posed by Y2K. As he put it, "We're
screwed." He went on to discuss different aspects of the problem,
from Washington's inactivity to the threat it poses to airlines,
sewer systems, banks, etc.

While Mr. Dunleavy's tone was very doom and gloom, Westergaard Year
2000 nevertheless commends him and the New York Post for publishing
the piece. As the New York Post is one of the most popular newspapers
in the tri-borough area, many people who were previously ignorant of
Y2K will take notice, and hopefully encourage their lawmakers,
friends, and family to take action.
