How can you be so negative about Dell. The stock price soared last Friday, when people were fleeing other stocks. This is the stock that does not go down. I bet you would have thought it overvalued 3 months ago. Just think--you could have doubled your money in 3 months! Wall Street only cares about earnings, and Dell's are doubling every quarter. There is no downside. PC growth is exploding, and Dell has a lock on the fastest growing segment, the direct marketer. This is a momentum stock--just buy and count the riches. Every week it zooms 10 points. I am telling everyone I know to buy Dell shares. We will be at 150 (75 post-split). By the end of January 97. Stocks always skyrocket after they split--they become much more affordable. And why would Soundview--super smart Wall Street professionals--upgrade the stock if they didn't think it would keep rising. All of Wall Street and Main Street loves Dell. You are the only dissenting voice.
