Regarding price movement prior to earnings, I was thinking along the same lines except this shorter term chart is easier to view. Of particular note is the dramatic price decline prior to each earnings announcement(blue triangle with an "e" in it) followed by an equally dramatic recovery after the announcement. The last two quarters both had big sell offs a few days before earnings were announced, followed by big price gains just after. Very tempted to bet on a repeat performance here.
