<<<Apparently you did not hear his remark regarding fish farming which was specifically directed at Zapata. The stock is trending down it must of had some effect.>>>

You know, what I would like to know is since when is diversification of interests a predictable failure? There are scores and scores of companies that make a lot of money due to diversification. I hate to say this but maintaining an internet site isn't exactly brain science. The largest detriment is time over knowledge. If Zapata cannot own and operate a profitable internet venture then I guess Ford and GM should sell of their financing units and Pepsi should stop selling food. Whoa, wait a minute. How did Warren Buffett ever make it? He started out owning insurance companies and now owns things such as See's Candies. What the heck does an insurance man know about selling candy? Hey, what does AT&T know about cable television...hmmm? The propaganda concerning Zapata being a fish oil company and nothing else is usually brought about by some bone head that thinks the operators of Yahoo, Excite et. al have some kind of monopolistic claim on the internet. Hey, I have news for you. What does a fish oil salesman know about football? I don't know but anyone who can make a winner out of the Tampa Bay Buccanneers must be doing something right.
