<OFF TOPIC - QTNT>

Last time I recommended a stock here (RMGG), it went from $0.18 to $0.68. My last two recs (although not on this thread, used Tokyo Mex and Big Dog threads) were TGSK at $1.53 (now at $2.64) and PDGE at $1.375, which is now at $1.78. I am still very long on ETPI, which has been getting hit by selling from Wein, but is bouncing back and has some very big discussions taking place that could dramatically increase revenues (even without that, it is still a profitable, reporting company). That's not my recommendation today though.

Corporate Overview
Quick Tent, Inc. (QTNT), headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, is the manufacturer and patent holder of a special high quality, camper friendly tent. Quick Tent was incorporated on March 31, 1993 for the purpose of developing and commercializing certain proprietary and patent rights related to an inverse umbrella tent. Quick Tent has spent the last four years obtaining worldwide patents with twenty-two individual claims on their unique tent designs. QTNT's designs and patent applications are based upon previously existing tent designs that have been substantially redesigned and engineered to make a practical, cost effective design for instantly setting up dome tents.

Currently, Quick Tents primary market is the recreational camper, but they believe there are several additional markets that are not being tapped. Quick Tent plans to use the following marketing and advertising channels:

- Television commercial spots
- Television "infomercials"
- Direct sales to and through organizations such as the Boy Scouts and utility companies
- Trade Shows
- Video catalog for multiple sales opportunities
- Established multi-level distribution channels
- Factory representatives to the retail market
- The internet
- Magazines and newspapers

Market

Last year there were 15-16 million tents sold in the United States alone and there was over one billion dollars in worldwide tent sales. Currently, there are over 8,000 campgrounds in the United States, and camping accessories and tent sales have been increasing every year.

Jinwoong Corporation is the leading manufacturer in the tent industry. In their first decade, they have established annual growth rates of 40%. Jinwoong tent products account for about one half of the US market and over 1/3 of all the worldwide tent sales. Jinwoong had 400 million dollars in tent sales last year alone. Eureka, an industry leader, sold 4.6 million tents in the US last year, and American Recreation sold about 3.5 million tents while The Coleman Company sold close to 2 million tents.

This is a highly competitive market, which is rapidly growing. This market is dominated by Jinwoong Corporation, which is the worldwide leader. Based on informal surveys, the Company believes that most campers and tent users are looking for quicker and more convenient tents. If this is true, Quick Tent should have easy penetration into the market.

Commercial and Industrial Tents will be offered to fuel companies, electric companies, telephone companies, cities, counties, states and all levels of government as well as the Army and Coast Guard. Army and Coast Guard units can use these tents for emergency tent cities.

Tent(s) for the utility companies will be more of a specialty tent. The tent will have no floor, will be made of rugged materials and can be used to cover manholes or to cover electrical and telephone wires in excavations or on platforms to protect them from the elements. There will also be a tent model to shelter workers in boom truck buckets. It will be small, compact and light weight in comparison to shelters that are currently in use and will take much less time to put up and take down.

The factory that has contracted to manufacture tents for Quick Tent will also manufacture sleeping bags and backpacks. QTNT anticipates that it will import sleeping bags and back packs with its tents.

Competition

Currently, the tent industry is highly competitive and expected to continue so in the future. Quick Tent will be competing directly or indirectly with a large number of companies, including most of the largest names in the industry such as Jinwoong, Coleman, American Recreation and Eureka. These companies are larger, better capitalized, more established and have greater access to resources necessary to produce a competitive advantage. Quick Tent beleives that its products prospectively can occupy a competitive market position because of the major differences in the tent designs. Their tents are set up quicker and easier than any other tent currently marketed worldwide.

Technical Considerations

There is good support with this stock in the $1-2 range, with resistance at the $3-4 area. This stock has the potential to be in the $10-11 range depending on Quick Tent meeting sales expectations and securing the financing allowing them to manufacture more product for the market. The stock has traded by appointment only for the last two years. Consideration is given to QTNT due to the fact that they were processing patents and securing worldwide rights. The company has pre-paid media rights, which allow them to market products through television on 217 stations. Quick Tent has also secured major accounts for retail. However, it should be noted that in order for them to take advantage of these mediums the company must be able to deliver product to the market.
