Hi Wally and thanks for the response. The thing that is bothering me is not the backhoe or the optical line that was severed. It is the modems that were burned out or incenerated. I do not think that fntn management neglected to tell this to Tomatoe Man. I think that either it happened after Tomatoe Man departed or they did not know the extent of damage when he was there.

So my concern is twofold. First, what is the status of repair of the burned out modems. Second, what other damage may have occured.

Third, why am I the only one concerned about this.

I want to enjoy many more days like the one we had today. If there are many more around the corner like this one today then that is great and we can celebrate every day. If however damage is going to throw them back for some time then I just want to know now.

I just want to know now. No surprises.
