Tom, I smell a Novellus stall... volume today 1/3 of daily average... sitting right at 50-day moving average, unable again today to rise above it... if it was re-testing recent high of 40+ then it didnt make it... look out below with Analog Device warning today (down 15%), AMAT warned last week, NVLS lowered twice in two weeks, KLAC warning, COHU warning, KLIC talking of substantial losses in Q4 ...... these chipfabs are running on fumes Robt Stephens lowered estimated earnings for Q3 and Q4 by about 10%, and for FY99 by just under 10% ... more to come maybe tomorrow book/bill for June... might be ugly / Jim
