I am sorry it has turned out this way, it will be interesting to see what the magnitude of the shortfall in the second half will be. Do you think it will be severe or do you think it might be flatish earnings for Q3 and Q4?

I ignored all the intermediate sell signals myself because I had a price target in my mind that I wanted to achieve. I also thought there would be a pre-earnings rally that I could potentially sell into because the Corrigan article with DJ news basically said Q2 would be OK. I didn't think LSI would let any bad news leak out even if there was some for 2nd half 1998.

My lesson learned is you have to take what the market gives you and not tell the market what it ought to be giving you. I hope I get another chance to put that lesson to work.

Any other "feelings" you got from your conversation, no matter how strange they seem, would be appreciated.
