Bob,
I apparently did not make my point clear. I apologize. I, too, use other sources of information besides those coming directly from the company. However, most of my information on non-reporting OTC stocks comes directly from the company. IN MY EXPERIENCE, THERE IS NO OTHER RELIABLE SOURCE FOR THESE TYPES OF COMPANIES.

My intent was to ask if you commonly base investment "research" solely on the third party DD of people in public chat sites and/or public bulletin boards when publishing information on OTC stocks in your newsletter. Was that specific enough of a question? ;)

I hope you do confirm everything you read on these boards concerning OTC stocks. So, do you confirm everything you write in your newsletter about non-reporting OTC stocks? I sure hope so - in my opinion that would be irresponsible if you didn't.

Your stated: "After I see what is already available, I will make up my mind whether I should issue an immediate retraction, ask GLOW itself to confirm the available information, or let my opinion of the company stand as is." That statement leads me to believe that you have never called the company, and that you STILL have not made the decision to do so. WOW! You still have not decided to call the company after putting out "investment information" on the company? Did you call GLOW before you placed it on your "Blivit List?" Just wondering.

Perhaps we have different standards. I like to call the company for my information on OTC stocks. You apparently prefer to get it from third party sources (at least for GLOW). Please let me know if my conclusion is incorrect. I sincerely hope it is.

One more thing, I fail to see the relevance of Gary being out of town. If you don't want to spend money on a long distance call, I suggest you wait until he returns to the USA. It is that simple. Your statement that "Gary is not in the US at the current time" is similar to saying "well, since the NY Times didn't print an issue today I will get my news from the national inquirer (i.e., a public stock thread)." Wow! Did you really mean that "it is important to point out that Gary is not in the US at the current time?" I will let you retract that statement if you like since it has no relevance to the matter at hand.

If you were sincere in trying to set the record straight, then more power to you. Perhaps I am being a little harsh in my comments. If so, I apologize. But, it seems clear to me that we simply have different standards on which we base our investment decisions. No one method is correct. Good luck with your research.

Cheers,
Dave
