Pat, much as I hate to say it, I think NN is a broken stock. I've been in and out of it the past couple of years and made a little money except for my last buy at 25. The problem I see is that the company doesn't seem to comprehend the changes taking place in the industry and the long term strategies that will be needed for survival and success.

I also think that part of their problem is that they are a Canadian firm(oh, I can feel those flame mails coming already). They seem very provincial in their approach to things. I almost sold out the last of my holdings a few weeks ago when they made that announcement about investing in a joint venture in New Brunswick. At first I thought it was a joke, then I realized they were serious. So much of what they do seems centric to Canada and I don't think that will fly in a global industry like this... They need to find their parnters and their talent anywhere they can and make their investments anywhere it makes the most sense for the company. If their mission is to be good Canadians first and good businesspeople second, I'm afraid they have a conflict of interest.

I wish this weren't the case, but, it sure seems like there's only more bad times ahead for NN...
