I assure you that I am not Robert Sisson, nor am I an employee of LSI Logic. I do own shares in LSI Logic, nor have I ever been an employee of LSI Logic. I am anticipating earnings at 2 cents below estimates with a moderately positive forward look. I had hoped for a nice bounce in the stock subsequent to my first large initial purchase in late January. Subsequent to this purchase, I have recently added to my position, a few days before your initial foray onto this board. Clearly, I have been disappointed, but I feel that LSI will significantly outperform the market over the next two years.
Prior to this year, I traded actively for five years. I learned to love my losses, and get rid of losing trades as quickly as possible. I have also learned when to be patient, and I feel that LSI is a company with which one can be patient. For reasons already outlined, I believe that semis are at their nadir, and poised to make the next move up in price in anticipation of the next super cycle in semis. This has been the worst three year period for semis in the past forty years. Unlike you, I don't have any huge losses in IDTI to burden me, so I have a great deal more pain tolerance. IDTI will turn, but you were clearly in the game at too high a price, too soon. Here, my problem is that my money has sat for about six months.
