IBM up 7/8 in after hours trading. IBM sees problems of the first half (i.e., pricing) getting better in the second half. As I said to my favorite Dellhead companions last week, if Dell can make more than IBM, CPQ, HWP & GTW combined during a price war, can you imagine how much they will make when pricing pressures ease. Additionally, Dell will continue to have a pricing advantage if for no other reason that components prices come down at the rate of 1% per week. So let's do the math. If CPQ no has only 40 days of inventory and Dell has 7 days, Dell has a built 5% price advantage before we start talking about the middleman mark-up which the Dell direct model doesn't have and IBM, CPQ and HWP do have.

One thing is clear, WE'RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE RICHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

:o)
