**OT** The Money Show investment conference in SF on Thur 8/6 thru Sun 8/9/98. I attended this free conference last year and enjoyed it quite a bit. There are 1-hour presentations by lots of big names (Battipaglia, Navellier, Landis, John Murphy, Frank, Michael Murphy, etc.) on pretty much every investment topic. In addition, for $49, I'll be attending a Sat 8/8 lunch panel entitled "Best Technology Picks for '98-'99" with Kevin Landis, Al Frank, Michael Murphy, Van Wagoner, etc.
Their web site is www.moneyshow.com to register on-line or phone 800-226-0323. I think you need a reference to get the free tickets. I said that I heard about the show from the "S&P Personal Wealth" web site. FYI. I have absolutely no financial interest in this conference. I just learned a ton last year and want to pass on the info.
