Most of the readers here will remember how much I detest Datek for what it has become the last six months.
But, in all fairness, I must report that I did 12 trades today on the express server 17. In each and every one, I got 3-5 second fills with LIMIT orders at the ask on sells and the bid on buys. And 4 of those trades were in the first half hour, which I had all but given up trying for months now. In fact, a few were outside the inside quote, and I still got those fills. These were ALL on very active stocks. (and no partials)
So, I don't know if I just got lucky with this server today, or they've have done something new all of a sudden. I'd like to know if anyone else had that kind of performance today. Somehow I doubt that they have fixed anything, but it would be nice if I'm wrong.
Alas, all did not go well, however. The ISLD book went down before 11:00, so I was without it the rest of the day. I'd love to blame Datek, but I guess I probably can't. Maybe Peter went over and messed with Josh's computers.............. |
