Mr. Tupper,

You are right about the active matrix. Most computer companies charge about $300 to $500 more to upgrade to active matrix. Heck Apple charges $1000 more for it. It seems the prototype had a dual scan and the prototypes showed up with active matrix. Almost seems the company was not sure what was going to show up from Hong Kong. It is just beyond me that the company would spend so much more money on the screen rather then spend an extra $10 to upgrade to a 586. Just slays me the thinking here (or lack of it).

Video conferencing software for PC's continue to drop in price. Now below $100. Tested out some software called POWWOW. Pretty interesting stuff and no monthly premium charge for it !!!!! In fact it is free right now. And to ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMER and Ski, the market seems to be zooooooming right past Startronix.
