Afaq:

I have been watching FIBR from the sidelines for some time. The reverse split could premonition either (i) a great event or (ii) a hapless situation. (i) If FIBR expects moderately positive earnings this quarter and high earnings growth and new product announcements thereafter, then reverse-splitting can give a needed upward jolt to the stock price and market recognition of the company to put FIBR on a fast track. (ii) If FIBR is pushed to a corner and is being asked to raise the price by a reverse-split to help the company raise more money through convertible bonds/stocks, then it is a bad event.

Do you know who the major institutional shareholders are? Given that many diehards are selling and that the frustration level is very high among small stockholders, I am wondering if some major institution (Volpe?) is picking up the shares, making perhaps alternative (i) more plausible.
