I have no real axe to grind against Kurlak - personally. However, he has developed a reputation somewhat like Elaine Garzarelli.

She made one good call (supposedly) predicting the 1987 "market crash" and is today still regarded as an industry GURU - despite having been wrong about the market's trends almost constantly since that time.

Kurlak does have the ability to move Intel - and that, I think, comes from the gullibility of investors who are convinced, by him, to become day-traders.

I love to hear the brokerage ads - Merrill Lynch's in particular - always advising you to invest for the long term. Then they issue their upgrades, downgrades, sideways-grades, trying to separate the "investor" from his or her money.

Very transparent.
