In May 1996 the Belfast Telegraph ran a story on Valence's unfinished plant in Ireland. It talked about being dogged with delays, but quoted Ralph Brodd (Valence's Global Vice President of Technology) as saying that production will start in early 1997. He talked about the training that was going on in Nevada for about 12 Irish engineers.
