SmartCards are being rejected by consumers like crumpled one dollar bills in a coke machine. forbes.com It just goes to show that you can't force technology on consumers. Hopefully, Wave has worked extensively with consumers on designing the actual interaction (interface) with the meter. It MUST be simple to use for the average Joe or it will never fly. That's why everyone should plan on purchasing a WinTV card when available and having their mother sit down and try to buy something. Call it the mother litmus test, if she can't do it, has too many questions or is extremely confused, we'll have a tough time getting anyone to use their meters. Yeah, they may have one in their box, but it will never get used...take the SmartCard link above as case in point... ---SC
