I buy equipment for warfighters (combat soldiers). The large majority of equipment/services I procure are not commercial items so I do not talk to sales reps. Someone at my command does buy this sort of stuff, though but I do not know this individual. Also, I don't ask too many questions of others and their work unless it pertains to my work assignments. You know, ethics and security.

You people do an outstanding job with your DD and I add what I can to fill in the holes. Generally, once unclassified contracts are awarded, they are public info so that is why you see info like the Dell federal sites. Commercial items, unclassified, market prices, etc.
