LoD, You've 'slipped' here, IMHO. You can go to a 'car dealer' and order a car BTO, but it will cost you more, and you will have to wait for delivery several weeks or months. Most people want that 'impulse' to be 'fulfilled' RIGHT NOW! You are correct that the 'vast majority' of the autos are 'spec' built, containing the items that have been most requested in the past.
