Tulips in Holland were worth only 1/2 of 1 % their former
value after the "adjustment", but Amazon is probably
still worth at least 2 Billion after a correction, don't
you think?

Bookselling over the internet is the antithesis to what the internet is going to evolve into, and this stock will suffer a prolonged, agonizing and slow death by natural causes. In the most simple terms, you can read and print and even publish books TODAY over the internet.

Unfortunately, this is a far sighted. It has nothing to do with the intermediate term investment decision to short. I really don't care much about how this pig dies in the next five years, in the short term there is just too much money to be made over the fact the company is simply not worth one one-thousandth (in terms of real assets, "good will" and all) of what the market has placed on it today.

Incidentally, a sailor who mistakenly ate one of the tulips spent six months in jail for the offense, I've heard. :)
