Dear Shawn,

I'm inclined to believe that if your notes on this rumoured takeover are true, the stock should have moved up to some $30+ by now. We need to remember that Microsoft is one of the most watched companies in the world, mostly be some very competent analysts, technologists, competitors, etc. and when I posted the rumour on the Msft thread last weekend, all I had was a tepid response.

I'm not trying to tell you that your 'sources' are wrong or misinformed, but simply that all of us who make hard-nosed investment decisions should not be very, very naive to think that any move by Microsoft is going to be allowed to be rumoured to go on till Dec. 20th. As my American friends often tell me when I pull a good yarn, ...'give me a break'.
