Now let me give you the facts, Jimbo. I, like others were waiting on a member of the thread to visit GNNX. He was on and off, then finally sold his position and said he would not go. We were all pretty upset. Some on the thread did not believe the telco contracts existed. So, I did call Genesis and "claimed to represent a group of investors" (not sure what you were trying to imply there). I flew over from Arizona rented a car and met with the principals at GNNX. All at my own expense and time. I posted what I found. No more, no less. I tried to be as objective as possible. I also increased my position.
Yes, I did sell, but if you read my posts the main reason was that I was burned on another penny stock (MIDL) and became frustrated with penny stocks. With a 40k loss in MIDL, I felt a sense of urgency to start rebuilding my account and the direction GNNX was going was the wrong direction. I also felt like I was being given the run around by GNNX. Do I think they need to drop everything to talk to me? No, but within three or four days would be courteous. At the time the stock was dropping big time on a daily basis for no apparent reason and I wanted an answer. Of course, I post my findings here for your benefit, Jim. I finally realized you can have a great company and the market just does not always recognize it and so I moved on (in hindsight should have never come back). If I would have known it upset you that I sold, I would have held. I'll make sure to check with you on my next trade.
I went back over my posts regarding GNNX and I found nothing that I would consider negative. I made a couple of observations and gave some opinions. Some critical, yet some very positive. I was a little critical that the company that GNNX selected (NOT GNNX) to market their Sinatra CD did have Major Lance, but no "Monkey Time". If people are going to sell their GNNX stock because I am upset there is no "Monkey Time", what are ya gonna do? I also posted my feelings regarding the incredible potential with the Hendrix film. Its called discussion, Jim. Everything is not 100% positive. There are pluses and minuses in everything, including companies. It is not a perfect world.
I did not constantly call the company. I think I called three times. Every time I did I posted what I found out. I dont want to sound cheap, but I did it on my dime and on my time, which is very valuable to me. BTW I think it is kinda funny I am justifying calling the company and posting my findings for your benefit, Jim. Anyway..
Jim, let me give you a little hint on the stock price thing. Listen really close now. the entire investment world does not read this thread. There is an outside world out there. This thread has only so much impact on this stock.
I'm just reading over your post here, Jim and I see that you say I and/or we on this thread that post things you dont like are stupid. Is that right? Well now Jim, taking this to a personal level is a different kinda thing. It may open you up to a few flames. I know you are kinda sensitive, are you going to be OK?
Jim, you also seem to have a lot of pent up anger. I would suggest you find a hobby to take your mind off the market for a while. Something not too stressful. Something where you can get away from others.
Jim, I hope you are enjoying your trial membership. I see you go way back to July 17, 1998 on SI and have a lot of time invested here on the thread. With all the DD and what not you have done here, I am sure you are going to pony up with the big bucks and become a full fledged member, right? If you do, I promise not to say anything bad or negative about anyone ever again. Life will be good again, Jim and the stock will skyrocket.
