John... Do you, or does anyone on this thread, know what the limit is (as authorized by a shareholder vote) for the number of shares that GE can issue? The primary way for a company to raise money for further ventures is to issue shares. Always this is limited by a vote. The second way is to take an equity loan against their assets. I suspect this second way is closed to GE without verification. Another point is that I don't believe that any "observer" can be on site during third party verification. It makes for problems. Any info? JL
