Don't take this as being against you but:

"Also, a cam corder was tested and programmed to 2000. What happened was the tape popped out and it jammed. It was a permanent jam and the person volunteering the cam corder had to send it to the factory and they replaced it with a new one."

This is the kind of remark that reinforces the idea that y2k is a hoax. Wait till some idiot gets a hold of this. It's like saying y2k will render your toilet incapable of flushing. Toilets don't have embedded system problems but water companies do. The former will "prove" that people who are aware of y2k and the effort required to avert total disaster are "survivalist nuts".
