Anthony - several possibilities on why most of the investing world does not care about Qualcomm's accomplishments and future potential.

A lot of them boil down to "everyone is secretly (or, unbeknownst to themselves) a 'momentum' player."

A friend of mine works at a small merchant baking firm (more or less sort of like a venture capital firm). He has told me that whenever his firm is trying to round up some money for a business, NO ONE wants to be "the first one in," and everyone would love to snap up the last available shares (or units, or bonds ...). People want to feel like it is clear the rest of the world has already put a "stamp of approval" on the investment being contemplated. It really is quite ridiculous, unless one thinks the concepts of Finance (as taught at Business schools) are much less important than Game Theory.

I do believe that once QCOM "gets going," (the share price, not the fundamentals of the business (because, the fundamentals are already in warp-drive)), we (apparently) early-"understanders" will have an easy ride.

Jon.
